WebRight there with you! I did 5/6 in 2024 and was really excited to run the NYC 1/2 again in 2024 and was pissed when I saw that to defer entry would be a non-complimentary entry. I didn’t think it was worth paying the $130 entry fee twice to run the race once. I too entered the lottery but am still slightly annoyed about how NYRR went about it.
