Web21 aug. 2015 · Take your lug nut to the hardware store and find a nut with the same thread. Install the new nut, then the lug nut up tight to the new nut, as far out on the stud as possible. Turn both nuts to put the stud to the position that allows you to sleep at night. Release the two nuts from each other.
